#3I think a social photo app would require more than just the camera app and would dive into the user acquisition "arena". It's definitely a portfolio piece and I would push it as a camera alternative.
If you're looking for something extra to put into it (not sure if you are or not), I would look into the photosphere functionality that Google built into their camera for Android. I can't speak for the utilization across Android as a whole, but I use it quite a bit when I think a panorama is warranted but I also want to capture images above or below the panorama axis.
