I haven't used QT Creator. Does it have many refactorings like Rename function, Extract function, etc? I'd suggest you watch this video to see if it would be beneficial to you : http://blog.jetbrains.com/clion/2014/12/refactorings-in-clio...

Are you familiar with any jetbrains products?

A bit yeah but I've never done more than a 30 day trial always staying with a text editor or QT Creator. I'm always looking for tools that enhance my workflow. Sometimes all these tools feel mostly the same after I try them.
