Are video games dangerous?

I regard video games as bad, because children who play video games are not playing outside, building fortresses out of the couch cushions, nor in many cases playing with other children.

It's important for children to play. Not so much to have fun, it's how they learn what they need to be adults someday. Watch the way kittens play with each other - they are learning how to hunt.
