Is this you?
- You like to help users in a production environment
- Really good in a *nix environment (2+ years), Ubuntu a plus
- Ability to explain networking concepts (layers, packet filtering, SSH, TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
- Knowledge of or experience with AWS (ability to articulate your learnt knowledge or experience)
- Experience or knowledge supporting user access and schema creation with databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL a plus)
- You know how to write maintain clear “how to” documents
- 2+ years of production administration under your belt
- Experience in basic programming or scripting (Python, Ruby, Fabric, SaltStack a plus)
- You have automated some of your tasks (Puppet, Chef, Fabric, etc)
- Enjoy spending your day onsite with like minded people
- Love what you do
- Authorized to work in U.S.

At AWS we automate where possible using CloudFormation, Ruby, Puppet, and Python while using EC2 with VPCs, RDS (MySQL), PostgreSQL, Redshift, S3, and other pre-baked Amazon services to run our operations.
