Panorama Education (YC S13) is hiring engineers in Boston

At Panorama Education, we’re building the future of data analytics for K-12 schools and teachers. We work with over 5000 schools across the country, and we’re well funded by great investors including Mark Zuckerberg and Google Ventures. We’re looking for full-stack engineers to help us realize our vision.

Our stack now includes AngularJS, Rails, Postgres, Redis, and Heroku, but we value the ability to learn fast more than specific experience with any technology. We’re a small team, so you’ll get to use the tools you want, and you can contribute to any area of product development that you find interesting, from system design to UI/UX.

Requirements:

- You’ve built web applications with an MVC framework

- You have strong CS fundamentals

- You want to work on big problems with thoughtful coworkers who care about education

Cool problems you’ll be working on:

- Real-time, distributed analytics on large data sets

- Dynamic paper form generation and optical mark recognition

- Actionable data viz for teachers and principals

We provide:

- Competitive salary & equity

- A beautiful, light-filled office in Boston

- Catered team lunches for guaranteed daily laughter with coworkers

- Unlimited vacation time to enable working smarter, not harder

- Tech setup of your choice, subway/bikeshare passes, medical/dental coverage, 401(k), etc.

- Coworkers who aren't here for the perks listed above

We were featured in the New York Times last week: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/04/technology/students-grade-teachers-and-a-start-up-harnesses-the-data.html
