#3Don't think I've had the pleasure of actually meeting any of those types in real life. It is a joke after all of course, but they do seem more like different 'hats' that most programmers come wear every now and then, rather than static 'types'... /pun

It seems to be because the entire post is plagiarised from a Tech Republic article, except for that last paragraph and the images (which I'm sure are also used without permission).
The post is worse than blogspam and the mods should change the link.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Nobody actually conforms perfectly to any of those archetypes, but I think most programmers can identify with all of them to some degree.
