Right after finishing an intense 10-12 weeks of coding bootcamp, I read this thread posted a month ago https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=7599475

I have a lot of mix feelings about this post and do feel a little bit discouraged. I've been to a couple of interviews as well and would always get this ominous feeling from engineers who would interview me for technical questions. I feel as if I'm not welcomed to the industry, most of my classmates feel the same way too.

Is is because we have no experience or is it because we're from a bootcamp and we're in no comparison to a CS major?

We understand we still have a lot to learn, but wouldn't it be a better to actually put what you've learned into practice and learn along the way?

Wondering if anyone could shed a bit light on topic and possible provide some next step or advice?

Any help would be great.
