This is an online tool I wrote that helps you to sort a list of items by importance. You paste in a list of items, then you are asked to compare them two at a time. As you go, it shows you an updated sorted list. It uses the Elo ranking algorithm, so that you still get decent results even if you don't do all pair combinations.
Why did I write this? My wife and I are thinking about moving and there are several dozen preferences we have, and I wanted to know which were our top 10 and in what order. You can use this for ranking any list of preferences: things you are looking for in a new car, favorite skills/interests to focus on when deciding on a new career, etc.
