#3I love all the DIY vids on YouTube made by indians. I really love them. But I freaking cannot stand that unbearable accent: I've got a thick french accent when I speak english but I'm nearly sure the indian english accent is worse.
I've dreamed of an AI automatically changing the accent to one that I can understand for a long time.
"Unbearable" doesn't begin to describe that accent.
BTW I don't know what's "whitening" about it: there are plenty of blacks or asians born in either the US or the UK or Australia that speak with a flawless local accent. There's no need to attribute it some racist connotation.
And the reason this is being done is that there are probably many people like me who simply cannot suffer that accent.
P.S: btw you know, it's fine if you can't stand my lovely french accent: no harm taken.
