What doesn’t help is BS like “not DC, ‘transmission of information center’”. Go ahead and try to find the definition of that. (Granted, it could be those quoted explained what it means, but it wasn’t reported.)

This is truly the most enraging aspect of our current situation. We're watching clueless billionaires bungle the execution of the most potentially life-changing technologies of our time to the point that public sentiment might be forever tainted.

My feeling is that the dumbass billionaires all think "If we just throw enough GPUs at LLMs, we'll get AGI. If $competitor does that, they'll reach world domination, so we better do it first."...
