#3Pretty sure that person is completely wrong - there is zero evidence that there is anything on AI studio's server, all the data is in the JSON file on google drive. That's why it disappears when you delete the file, and reappears when you recover the file.
There are plenty of evidence that this is the case: File size is too big for merge link, but just right for the actual prompt. Many other AI systems store chats in JSON files. Google poster says outright, "When you save a chat in Google AI Studio, it is stored in Gdrive as a JSON file" [0]
Bitu79, if you want people to pay attention to you, you'll need to show some actual evidence that the file does not contain the prompt. Just repeating the sentence over and over does not work, show the facts. The JSON file with pointer is small, and does not grow when you add more messages to chat. The JSON file with chat is much bigger and will increase the size when you post more messages. You can also open the file and show the contents to user.
If you claim that there is no chat in JSON, contrary to what Google has, prove it!
