Show HN: A daily covering-walk puzzle where mowing direction matters

#1
Every time I mow the lawn, I play this mental game in my head where I try and mow the lawn as efficiently as possible (while minding where I'm shooting the grass clippings).

Well, I decided to turn this little mental puzzle, into a daily game.

Enjoy!

Nice job. I remember playing a top-down 2d game in the early [00]s with a similar premise but it was real-time.

You had a limited amount of gas so you still had to optimize your route to finish as quickly as possible without retracing your steps. It had various obstacles/powerups/etc sort of in the form of something like Paper Boy.

Oh nice!! I'd be curious to try that! I did consider a few different iterations of this, and one was similar in that you'd have limited gas.
