A discarded SpaceX rocket is on a high-speed collision course with the moon

I was watching a livestream telescope feed and saw nothing but normal Moon. I heard other reports that there was nothing to be seen. I've not seen any confirmation of the impact, its location, or its exact time.

It was projected to hit Einstein Crater, which is on the visible part of the Moon, but only just. It is near the western limb and so we get an oblique view of it. NASA and other agencies have eyes in the lunar sky that were tasked with picking this up.
