#267% of Americans probably don't even know what this is.
Hint: It's when one person "dictates" who you can trade with and influences the price you pay for products. And attempts to extend this solitary influence to elections and control of the military.

#4This may unironically be the best application for the Blockchain. Vote on permissioned-node-only chain --> 30 seconds where you can verify how your vote was recorded --> Vote anonymized but not stripped of all data --> a quorum of state/provincial election boards can audit the results as adversarially as they'd like. This probably needs to happen, as we're fast entering the "governments are just making things up and/…
Also one doesn't need to be a programmer to monitor paper voting.
Also, I do not see how blockchain can be used here. Are you suggesting that anyone, including foreign governments, can launch a node and "mine" votes? And whoever has more computing power, has more votes, like in Bitcoin?

Tacking this on here for even more confirmation https://public.websites.umich.edu/~rsc/Editorials/fascism.ht...
Then Trump shows up and just absolutely accelerates this all at an unbelievable pace. Sometimes I think we give him too much credit. He’s an absolute danger to our country but he sure as shit didn’t come into office with that checklist completely blank.
I don’t know. All we are ever given is shitty candidates. But maybe that’s just me. Maybe most Americans like the options they’re given. Maybe most are fascist. They voted for Trump twice. And I think that’s most scary. That we’re here because this is what people wanted.

You can restate this after the November elections take place. Until then, America is still very, very far from real fascism.
Your comment itself implies it is only 1 election away.
