#2people always talk about how they just close any site that doesn't display the article immediately or has popups that interrupt you mid-reading.
i'm not saying they can't ask at all but maybe shorten it a little and have it link to something a little more verbose?
i suggest this because people are very scroll happy; they don't scroll slowly unless they're already invested or see something that immediately piques their interest.
a wall of irrelevant text will just make people fly through the article itself, go "oh wow it keeps going" and then just give up and hit the back button.
