While everyone is building the next AI SaaS, I recently took on a completely different challenge: engineering an internal business management and stock inventory system for a local marble and granite company.
No complex microservices or trendy frameworks. I just used pure PHP and MySQL to transition their frontend invoice application into a fully database-backed accounting tool. The impact on their daily operations was immediate and massive.
