#2Author here. I wrote this after starting my journey to replace some of the most common apps I used on a regular basis. I found myself constantly inundated by distracting ads, and kept running into core features that were unnecessarily paywall blocked. I think we can raise our expectations for utilities like this, and even go beyond simple utilities to make hosted and more complex solutions more accessible to others.

#3Great idea, Josh. It's always a pain in the ass to download a simple app, and it's acting like it's the most awesome tool in the world that we must pay $9 per week to have the privilege of using it.
Will definitely download some of your apps, looking forward to the next ones.
