#3I could have done without Silver's intro on this, and without veiled sneering like "Anti-American sentiment isn’t likely to be a winning argument, even in Democratic primaries".
I'll also note that Republicans are polled as being extremely proud of the US when G. W. Bush and Trump were in office, and not very proud when Obama and Biden were in office, but also only 18% of them think their opinion changes based on when their guy is in office.
