It’s infuriating any simple request related to common bioinformatics work and computational biology is flagged. Like we are we are trying to weaponize viruses or create anthrax!

#2After it returned it has become significantly dumber, I see that across Claude models maybe they applied all the inbuilt policy restrictions, I guess.

#3You need to apply specifically to their program to get access to unlobotomized models. They also have a separate app here for sciences: https://claude.com/product/claude-science

Is this available for the average PhD student?
I assume it'd be through your university so you'd have to ask them or maybe email the AI companies yourself.
