It's concerning to me that comments on HN dare critisize cousin fucking Nazi scum always get down voted.

Absolutely not, when the fame and money it brings, it's brought to political agendas. It's very comfortable to think that you can separate the capitalist marketing from the political agenda of the owner. Just like buying a Tesla and not caring about what Musk does to the US and the world. Simply impossible to separate

but isn't this open source? where is the capitalist marketing angle coming in with the distro? minus the automatic basecamp setup which is one command uninstall away, no?

There are better open source projects, why give prominence to bad projects under the control of bad actors? It would be an inexcusable waste of precious open source efforts.

There are better open source projects, why give prominence to bad projects under the control of bad actors? It would be an inexcusable waste of precious open source efforts.

I understand what you mean and I've tried a few but haven't found something that's out of the box geared to dev the way Omarchy is, hence kept at it. Will keep an eye out in general for alternatives as much as I love Omarchy.
