Meta asks California lawmakers for shield from child harm penalties

Parents need to parent. Unfortunately parents have neglected that responsibility so criminal liability needs to be shifted to them in order to align their incentives. In practical terms, giving kids access to social media should have the same penalties as giving them heroin.
