We’d love feedback on whether XMPP is still relevant for modern agent systems vs WebSocket / gRPC.

Agents in OpenClaw/Hermes don’t call each other via APIs or SDK bindings — they use XMPP Ad-Hoc Commands (ad-command) as a universal “function call layer”.
