For this announcement, no. Some caveats, this is only for the robotaxi, not any personal owned self driving. Those remain level 2. This is obviously only in Texas. That said,fFor robotaxis, certainly for accidents that the robotaxi is deemed fully reaponsible, Tesla (or insurance?) will be liable. Things like other vehicles, third-party interference, passenger misconduct, etc. will share or cover liability depending…
