That's wrong and untrue.

FilePilot is made by single developer, Vjekoslav Krajačić, public since Feb 2025:

..Next-gen file explorer Engineered entirely from scratch for light-speed performance, featuring a modern and robust interface

It doesn't use AI.

2.08MB size, handcoded and extremally optimized.

£32 personal license, plan to offer Source Included as a separate purchase.
