High-tech Chinese cars pop up in California thanks to legal loophole

I don’t understand why we are all obligated to support the American car industry. It’s not like they’ve been especially good companies. They make substandard products that are unreasonably expensive and they don’t provide enough quality or support. Let competition do its thing.
