If the Sun were a tennis ball, the nearest star would be 1,933 km away.

I built an interactive map that puts famous stars on Earth at human scale, from Proxima Centauri to the edge of the observable universe.

Try atom scale. It gets absurd.

I backed out as soon as I was prompted by the browser to allow sharing my location information.

I may well be a little paranoid, and I think I saw, while backing away, why it was requested, but please don't scrape data without asking first.
