#3dude, "linux" has been for everyone for more than a decade. Only game devs sucks at crafting broad elf/linux binaries for games (since most are also unable to do so on even windows)... but above all: no mass _DEFAULT_ installation of elf/linux distros on PCs (look at android linux...).
