Everybody seems to want a drawn out conflict. There was going to be a blue wave in the midterms anyway, now Trump can blame the Iran conflict so it’s a win for him. A long drawn out war is in Israel’s interest so it’s a win for them too. Iran obviously isn’t interested in another agreement that won’t be honored so forever war it is. The losers will be European countries, places like Australia, the Philippines which are running out of fuel.

From what I have seen, polls suggest a narrow Democratic win in November, but not a wave. Even the war doesn't seem to have moved the needle all that much.

Voters who like Trump may be unhappy but they're not going to allow a Democrat to win. Democrats already hate Trump maximally and they can't vote any harder. People who were on the fence in 2024 don't seem to be in a rush to admit that fence-sitting was a mistake then by doing something different now.
