Nextvi 4.0 – A small, hackable vi/ex editor with an optional patch system

I've been using nextvi daily as my primary editor on Slackware Linux. It replaced vim for me, compact codebase, genuinely fast, and the EXINIT scripting system is more capable than it looks. The patch system keeps the core lean while letting you add what you actually need.
