#3God this site is cancer on phone, I'm reading the article and suddenly the whole screen is full of some signup crap and the onscreen keyboard, so I try to bail and no fewer than 3 times does it prevent me from swiping back. Serves me right for not browsing on desktop...

That's why I turn off JS on these sites. The site now displays beautifully without craps.

#5I want Sam Altman to be punished for causing this, but I want a lot of things that won't ever happen. I was probably gonna get a new primary machine this year, next year at the latest. I don't plan on massively overpaying cause of this nonsense, so there went that idea.

#6In 2017 the consultants said to move to the cloud. It was 20x as expensive as running your own datacenters. Now the Phoebus cartel has arranged the markets to make everyone say, "it is too expensive to run your own datacenter!", and that is how DHS has accomplished NuCALEA for storage and compute.
