#2I saw this story. I think the most fascinating part was halfway through (after two hours) the boy decided he had to ditch his life jacket in order to make it to shore.
What a hard and life changing decision to make at 13. Incredible.

ANd that they found the family at 8:30 that night, must have been dark?
And by that time they had been swept 14km out to sea .......
