With the default theme and everything enabled, it renders 1000 pages of markdown in under 20 seconds. With a simpler blog theme and code highlighting disabled, it renders the same amount in 5 seconds.

Tested on Mac mini M4 base model.

Wow, the 5 seconds one is really fast! My static microblog generator [1] takes 30 seconds to generate 2600+ HTML pages from a single Markdown file (it uses a single Markdown file with additional directives to define seperate posts). Example can be visited at [2]. Tested on a Mac mini Late 2014 (!).

I plan to buy an M4 or M5 Mac mini later this year. Curious how fast it will generate my blog then.
