#3I had no idea they still had which I understand to be a “metaverse” division, especially with thousands of people. People there must have realized they were on borrowed time.

Depends. Leadership will constantly tell people how important their work is and how they are changing the world. I expect a leader to motivate the people under them in all cases otherwise folks become confused and leave.

#6Asgard's Wrath 2 got critical acclaim for being a good *game*, not just a good VR game.
If they can't make it work with something that got a 10 on IGN, then maybe they just can't make it work, but I think we're coming to the end of the age where tech companies can't just "start a game studio" and it be successful, looking at you Amazon and Netflix
