Orbital Rocket Simulation

My 17 year old son is applying to college and he built this rocket launch simulator for his portfolio. I think it's pretty awesome, but... I'm his Dad ¯_(ツ)_/¯ And I don't know anything about orbital mechanics or rocket launches. What do you think?
