Ha ha, funny. In all fairness it would be just as funny about PyPi or crates or whatever. The collapse of bazaar/dependency/abstractions development model is already a running joke. I don't have numbers but I bet more and more ppl are going embedded style: 0 dependency, one single architecture - portability is for masochists.
