Show HN: Got tired of searching for AI news daily so I built my own AI news page

Hacker News has been my homepage and my inspiration for many years. While I’m still learning the ropes of building a public website, I created DreyX.com out of a simple necessity: I wanted a better way to track AI news without all the fluff. Literally a tool built by a curious reader, for curious readers. Thoughts? Suggestions?

You got tired of searching for AI news? I’m tired of seeing AI news, feel like it’s being forced on me everywhere all the time. Wish we could switch places.

I feel it. Honestly, AI has changed my life for the better. I know many people feel that fatigue, but I’m hungry and excited to wake up to see what's new each day. After many years in tech, everything started to feel stale... and then AI came along and reignited my curiosity. It's been a massive blessing for me.

Sorry that you feel that way.

AI "news" you see here are mostly current thing grift. not nearly enough innovation is happening to satisfy the 24x7 news cycle, so all we see is "CURRENT THING BAD", regurgitated ad nauseam.

Nice job, I'm digging it! How are you finding the articles? How are you ranking the articles?

Thank you. Trying my best.

I just have it search a lot of "non-paywall" sites from all over the globe. Yandex, Baidu, Google, etc. All the sites go into a queue that are reviewed by the admins before they approve. Trying to make sure the less fluff, the better. Looking for any suggestions / ideas to improve it daily.
