Dyslexia and the Reading Wars

Short version: The modern Education-Industrial Complex is a giant shit-show, dominated by actors either disinterested in kids actually learning to read, or so far down some self-absorbed/ideological rabbit hole that they don't really notice whether the kids are learning to read or not.
