Top researchers consider leaving U.S.: 'The science world is ending' [video]

If they want to be in academia, they need grant money and students (and post docs). If they are unable to get this stuff, they have to leave academia or go where they can be acquired. I assume “academia” means research uni’s not teaching colleges.
