#2What is fun is that AI was supposed to make human work obsolete and now we have to work more...
But pun aside, it is quite curious that progress should allow us to have a better life while working less, and still, despite technical improvements, we are kind of requiring employees to work more and more for around the same income.

And the point of entrepreneurship is other people working hard to make you money.
What you are experiencing is reversion to the mean. Historically, approximately everyone was a peasant or worse.
