Is that a deprecation? Or is it just removed?

Deprecation refers to a period of obsolescence. Once an obsolescent/deprecated feature has been removed it's no longer obsolescent/deprecated. It is obsolete/removed.

This isn't English language pedantry. Deprecation is a term of art in software development. Use them right or don't bother.
