Commit is a good, high-quality typeface. I think it lives up to its aspiration to be "neutral" and that its creator is to be commended for genuinely excellent work.

Agree that the default appearance of the web site is... less than optimal. You can change it with the light/dark and high contrast controls at the bottom, though. Commit is a good, high-quality typeface. I think it lives up to its aspiration to be "neutral" and that its creator is to be commended for genuinely excellent work.
It boggles my mind to think the developer actually thought about contrast and still chose to go with a default of black on dark gray.
