#3The point is that AI is not intelligent at this point. It is clever, and quick. But it does not surpass its training data. So I don't see a future where AI is smarter than us... I see a future where it is a really fast way to get the median quality answer to any question posed.

#4Is it wrong that whenever I hear people talk about super intelligent AI, I think of Star wars -- Qui-Gon Jinn: The ability to speak does not make you intelligent. #5There have always been those smarter than me. I have no ego invested in being the smartest in the room. Is that what this is all about? Ego?

As I wrote in the post, that is definitely part of it for me. Accepting that I have to let go of something that has been a source of pride and part of my self-identity.
That makes for interesting back-and-forth. I value what I get from this. Never mind who's 'smarter', what is IQ anyway?
