CSS is that place where one cannot dig into the browser rendering bits in daily work, but just try random things.

If it were a game, folks would demand total introspection between the script and the engine. They would want to breakpoint to the exact spot right before the pixel is drawn, to look at global state.

It's a stark discrepancy.
