#3If you're looking for product tests, you're overwhelmed by all theses affiliate marketing pseudo tests. In some categories it is barely possible to find a real test at all! Having a well maintained directy might be a big win.

#4Kagi has made web search useful for me again, but I fear that's a temporary reprieve and eventually the web will become unsearchable.
If that happens, then curated directories are the only effective solution left.
