I've noticed I don't trust open source projects in the .NET space like I once did. Too many go away (i.e. NHibernate). Does anyone have any feedback on this article? Is in .NET only?

EDIT: Are there are other think pieces on the state of open source more broadly?

Maybe AI will just take over all the open source projects...

Where did NHibernate go? Their site says this: NHibernate is a mature, open source object-relational mapper for the .NET framework. It's actively developed, fully featured and used in thousands of successful projects

It's a self-harm activity and a crime against anyone else who has to maintain the code which uses it. Good God, please use EF Core or Dapper/DapperAOT if you can help it haha.
