#3I'm curious what happened here. I feel like as a kid, there was some vague reversal, that a lot of serious people were Republicans. Some of the people I look up to most in my life were Republicans 30 years ago.
And I would say in many ways now, I'm desperate for some decent conservative thought leadership. This recent Jon Stewart interview with Oren Cass (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgEQeLR-M0g) was like a cup of water in the desert. Literally my only requirement to be inspired by conservative thought leaders anymore is the smallest notion that you're arguing in good faith.
