Was that humour? Just asking. You mentioned India as ''allies'' to Europe, which doesn't add up in a geopolitical sense.

India keeps buying Russian oil unapologetically and hasn't done anything at all to support Ukraine.

Europe has also kept getting gas from Russia via Vietnamese flagged ships- to the tune of several billions, all whilst trying to stop the pipelines

India hasn't been a defence exporter for long "due to export restrictions on the manufacturing companies" [1]. That gives it the same reliability issues as the U.S.
Europe should absolutely look to New Delhi for its defence needs. But it should be careful not to become reliant on them. (The obvious bet is Ukraine.)

millions will starve in india if energy costs go up. population is extremely sensitive to energy costs.
Why would india stop if EU themselves are still heavily dependent on russian fossil fuels.
