They already have credits based pricing and that is their API. If somebody wants it, they can use that. Why would you want to burden your other users with tracking credits?

I guess it makes sense b/c models have diff costs and a deep research query obviously costs way more to run than someone asking for what to name their sushi restaurant.

But yeah credits are annoying to deal with, especially if you're already paying a subscription
