Note this is from last October, this is already in place. A coworker uses it to commute more that 100km each way.

As the workers mentioned, this is a way to bankrupt the state company so it can be privatised or saddled with debt. These trains trips were profitable, and subsidized others connections. The state did not transfer more money for this service, unlike the Carris Metropolitana, a single bus brand that is operated by several private companies, mostly French anf German.
