I didn't vote for Trump, but I am supportive of the rest of the world moving on from America. We can't regulate our own companies, we support genocidal states that ignore international law, and we elected a property mogul as president. America cannot be taken seriously as a nation anymore, and I think that's a good realization to make.

The next 4 years should represent a global divestment from America for software manufacturing and a collapse of the "educated" workforce that we foster. I expect SWE salaries to drop dramatically, luxury electronics prices to climb upwards and overall the state of FAANG will be even more shambolic than it is already.
